Mission

The Food & Beverage Committee was established with the aim of gathering the importers of Italian food, coffee and wine, the Italian restaurants in the Republic of Korea and the firms or institutions involved in education and promotion of the Italian dining and cuisine. The committee focuses its activities on the cooperation of all the members in order to enhance their collective interest, through regular meetings, sharing of experiences and organization of joint events and promotional activities, such as the Italian Food Festival held once a year in Korea.

6th Italian Food Festival in Korea (1st~31st May 2017)

The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Korea (ITCCK) and twelve Italian restaurants in Korea, all members of the Chamber and its Food & Beverage Committee, will hold for the sixth time in Korea an authentic Italian Food Festival, with the aim of presenting to Korean consumers typical dishes of the Italian regional cuisine.

From May 1st to 31st 2017, each of the twelve involved restaurants is going to offer their customers an exclusive course menu including typical and authentic dishes from a specific region of Italy, prepared and selected by their own chefs, and the cost of the set menu will range from 40,000 to 250,000 KRW.

The restaurants joining the Festival are “Allatorre” in Hongdae, “Brera” in Beotigogae, “Atrio(Conrad Hotel)” in Yeoido-dong, “Gloe Bistro” in Samseong-dong, “Il Chiasso” in Hannam-dong, “Cornerstone (Park Hyatt Seoul)” in Samseong-dong, “Peck” in Jamsil-dong “Eataly (Hyundai Department Store)” in Pangyo, “kitchen 485” in Seogyo-dong, “Peninsula (Lotte Hotel Seoul)” in Sogong-dong, “Ristorante Eo” in Chungdam-dong and “Vera” in Itaewon.
