"Ospitalita 'Italiana' is an Italian government-sponsored certification and is awarded to Italian restaurants around the world that offer a deep understanding of Italian tradition and culture and promote it through the business. For a long time, the Italian government has tried to create a global restaurant network to spread traditional local products, promoting the excellence of its traditional Italian brand (PDO / PGI). The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Korea (ITCCK) expects all of the outstanding Italian restaurants operating in Korea to be certified as "Ospitalita Italiana." So far, there have been over 2,000 restaurants certified outside of Italy, and more than 23 restaurants have been certified in Korea.
