Conventionally the origin of the Korean industrialization is dated back to the early '60s, therefore in little more than a decade since the end of the Korean War. Many local enterprises reached then the crucial moment of their first generational transition. This involves the transfer of the acquired know-how assets and management skills through years of experience from one generation to the following one. If not wisely implemented the handover could endanger the set of established relationships, the financial structure and jobs. For these reasons, the generational transfer process must be managed at its best.
