Trattoria dell'Arte, a casual Italian restaurant in the spectacular settings of the new Tongyeong Concert Hall, is looking for a full-time, leading Chef.

The only Italian restaurant in Tongyeong City, Trattoria dell´Arte is located inside the new Tongyeong Concert Hall building. The concert hall with its impressive architectural features is surrounded by the sea, and all rooms including the Trattoria boost spectacular views over Tongyeong harbour and the surrounding islands. Trattoria dell´Arte caters to the needs of the Tongyeong International Music Festival and other music events throughout the year but is also frequented by locals and tourists alike- Tongyeong is one of the major tourist destinations in Korea and counts around 6,5 million visitors a year.
The restaurant has a large open kitchen and a pizza oven and serves up to 80 customers. Occasionally, it also caters to receptions and conference events inside the Tongyeong Concert Hall building. The restaurant itself has a small stage for musical events like its monthly Jazz Night.
Trattoria dell´Arte is run by Tongyeong International Music Foundation, the management of the Concert Hall.
We are looking for a young, flexible and motivated chef who likes to work in a small and friendly Korean team (3 chefs/ 3 hall staff, plus extra personnel). Experience in Korea/Asia preferabl

Conditions:
- Salary: KRW 3.500.000 and up
- 2 times bonus per year
- 5-day workweek
- working hours between 10AM and 10PM, including lunch, dinner, coffee. Afternoon breaks can be 2-3 hours so the actual workload is around 8 hours.
- National health insurance, pension etc.
- overtime and additional days paid
- 15 days paid holidays per year
- TIMF does not provide housing but rooms/appartments can be arranged for a monthly rent starting at around KRW 500.000
- Trattoria open every day except Monday, from 10 AM to 10PM
- Air tickets: can be provided once a year
- Visa: will be provided upon proven experience
