I am very pleased to say that, notwithstanding theenduring restrictions, in 2021 the ITCCKwas able to honor its mission in a sustainable way.
I am particularly proud to say that, while forced to carry out manyactivities with limitations,
wemanaged to launch a fewinitiatives for the future development of the ITCCK, amongst which:
- new mobile-friendly ITCCK website allowingthe geo-localization of our Members (see sections where-to-eat or where-to-buy)
- web-based recruitment platform, The Italian Job, aimed to bridge job seekers and job opportunities within the increasing Italo-Korean community
- more inclusive Membership Structure reflecting the different nature and goals of our Members (now also including Individual Members)
In 2022 we will continue to work onsome ITCCK distinctiveactivities such as the Italian Food Festival, the Ospitalita’ Italiana Awards
(from this year extended also to Gelato and Pizza),while new activities will be added, like the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs (EYE) project.
Thanks to the progressive release if social distancing, many activities will likely resume to their original form, like B-t-B delegationsand meetings,
as well as the periodical Aperitivo Italiano.
For this hard work and the achievements, I would like to thank our Secretary General Jacopo Giumanand his devoted staff, our Board of Directors for their
passionate and active contributions, His Excellency the Italian Ambassador Federico Failla and the Italian Ambassy, for their continuing support and friendship,
all the Italian Chamber and Government Institutions for their guidance and, last but not least, our loyal and increasing Members whose satisfaction
Looking forward to abrighterand even more connected future together!
