Savino Del Bene Korea is seeking a motivated, compliance and human resources junior candidate with few experience in general organization process framework and control.


SCOPE OF THE ROLE:

To manage internal sales plans and processes related to shipping services; maintaining and developing telephone contacts to create business opportunities on existing or potential customers, preparing offers and quotations, in accordance with the company's strategy and guidelines.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

•  Administration of internal sales plans and campaign implementation processes to support acquisition and conservation programs

•  Analyses the customer's needs and recommends alternative solutions/products or services using knowledge of products/ services and industry

•  Acquires, retains and develops customers to achieve assigned sales targets by calling them regularly to ensure service satisfaction

•  Responds to customer requests, solves problems, presents new solutions, promotes and sells already consolidated products/services

•  Manages the commercial aspect of its customer portfolio (elaborates quotations and spot offers inclusive of ancillary costs; supports being cost effective for customers with traffic consolidating solutions; organizes and manages the commercial archive; inserts offer and confirmed sales)

•  Justifies negative deviations from the agreed average profit margin for shipments of which have been offered

•  Collaborates in the participation in tenders for the acquisition of long-term orders

•  Follows the marketing telephone, web, e-mail and mail to establish and qualify Customers / potential Customers

•  Participates in the negotiation of customs, positioning costs, customs and additional costs with the shipping lines and airlines, with the Procurement and with customs operators

•  Maintains contacts with foreign agents and branches for the negotiation of the prices of ancillary services in origin/destiny 

•  Collaborates with the Operations department in the annual evaluation of suppliers and supports the Pricing Team (Procurement)


COMPETENCIES:

•  Knowledge of the sector and products, techniques and methods of international shipments

•  Knowledge of the terminologies and main contents of Sea, Air, Land services

•  Knowledge of INCOTERMS

•  Knowledge of assertive communication techniques

•  Knowledge of the techniques of selling services in the field of Logistics and Shipping

•  Knowledge of negotiation techniques

•  Knowledge of data collection techniques and market analysis for Client profiling

•  Knowledge of pricing definition techniques and marginality management

•  Ability to use CRM, quotation systems, sales management and track & trace systems

•  Ability to calculate freight costs

•  Dashboard analytics capabilities

TYPICAL WORK SITUATION:

In the office or in Smartworking; use of PC, phone and smartphone; full-time or part-time hours; telephone meetings with Customers; internal alignments with Sales, Operations and Product


TOOLS TO BE USED / needed qualifications:

•  Microsoft Office package, Excel in particular

•  Sales and Marketing channels

•  Quotation systems 

•  Sales management (SAP, etc.)

•  Social channels

•  CRM

•  Driver’s license 


REPORTING LINES & collaboration parties:

•  Hierarchically reports to the Sales Team Leader, Sales Manager, Branch Manager, Head of Overseas Pricing & Procurement

•  Collaborates with Sales, Operations, Pricing & Procurement, Airfreight/Oceanfreight Product, Customs & Tax Services, Handling, Distribution

•  Externally it relates to customers and suppliers


VERTICAL ROLE DEVELOPMENT:

Possible vertical development as Sales Executive, Business Development Manager, etc


HORIZONTAL ROLE DEVELOPMENT:

Possible horizontal development as Customer Service, Operations & Customer Service Specialist for Special Products (Food & Perishables, Life Sciences & Healthcare, Dangerous Goods), Trade Lane Procurement, Pricing & Market Specialist
