THE AUTHENTIC ITALIAN TABLE 2021
On June 23, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Korea (ITCCK) successfully carried out an Authentic Italian Table event named La Vera Pizza Napoletana by
Gino Sorbillo at Pizzeria VOLARE in Seoul!
The event is part of the "True Italian Taste" project promoted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in collaboration
with Assocamerestero (Association of Italian Chambers of Commerce abroad) and ITCCK. This event is aimed to demonstrate how to make authentic
Neapolitan pizza while strengthening, promoting and protecting the position of high-quality Italian products in the Korean market.
Gino Sorbillo, one of the most renowned pizzaiolo (pizza master), introduced and showed the conventional recipe to make traditional Neapolitan pizza via Zoom.
And at the same time, Volare's pizzaiolo did a live demonstration on the spot.

The event included not only professionals already working in pizzeria or Italian restaurant but also food influencers and students from the hospitality
and catering industry. They also had an informative Q&A session interacting directly with pizzaiolo Gino Sorbillo in real time.
Everyone at the event had a good time tasting authentic Neapolitan pizza with the most popular Italian beer “Peroni”, which perfectly matches together.
In addition, they tasted and learned how to make the most common Italian aperitif, “Aperol Spritz”!

At the end, each participant received a kit full of ingredients to make their own Italian pizza at home.
