[Position Overview]

Tenacta Asia Director will be responsible for managing and developing the commercial subsidiary of the group in the South Korea market. The role entails implementing the company’s strategy, leading the local team, driving sales growth, and ensuring sustainable business expansion while strengthening brand presence in the region. This role reports to the board of Tenacta Asia Limited and requires close collaboration with the Italian parent company to align strategies, processes and operations.

 

[Key Responsibilities]

l   Define and implement the sales strategies to increase market share and revenue, ensuring alignment with marketing strategies while conducting a thorough assessment of the optimal mix of sales channels, including B2B, B2C, and marketplaces.

l   Based on the HQ guideline and objectives, define the subsidiary’s budget and forecast, ensuring marginality and profitability.

l   Monitor sales performance and analyze KPIs to optimize commercial strategies. Promptly define corrective actions for any discrepancies between budget/forecast and actual results.

l   With the local team conduct detailed sales and cost analyses to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for profitability improvement.

l   Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities, cultivate strategic partnerships, and explore new distribution channels. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to uncover potential areas for expansion. Implement innovative strategies to penetrate untapped markets and optimize existing distribution networks, ensuring sustainable growth and increased market presence.

l   Keep stock constantly under control, through an accurate sales forecasting, real-time monitoring, strategic planning, and strong communication with the head quarter. Pro-actively define and manage the necessary sales and promotion activities needed to reduce the risk of overstock, without compromising the commercial goals in terms of turnover and marginality.

l   Manage and coordinate the local team (sales, marketing and finance/operation) to achieve business objectives, fostering collaboration with Headquarter departments based on the matrix organizational structure of the Group. Establish a stable, high-performing team by fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. Motivate the team through recognition and opportunities for growth to ensure sustained engagement and productivity.

l   Establish and maintain effective relationships with key customers, distributors, local and parent company stakeholders.

l   Ensure full compliance with local regulations and policies by regularly monitoring and reviewing legal requirements. Collaborate with legal and regulatory bodies to stay updated on any changes and ensure timely adaptation of practices.

l   Coordinate closely with headquarters to ensure alignment of strategies and operational activities. Regularly communicate and collaborate with key stakeholders to synchronize goals, objectives, and initiatives. Develop comprehensive plans that incorporate both local and global perspectives, ensuring consistency and coherence across all functions. Foster a transparent and open dialogue to address challenges and opportunities, ensuring a unified approach to achieving organizational success. Ensure all processes comply with group standards and policies. With the support of the local team, identify, share and evaluate in according with Group Team, implement improvements in operational processes to increase effectiveness and efficiency.

l   Ensure effective and efficient post-sales service with the collaboration of the Headquarter team.

 

[Requirements]

l   Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field.

l   At least 5-7 years of managerial experience in sales within the small home appliances sector or related industries (consumer electronics, FMCG).

l   In-depth knowledge of the local market and distribution networks for electronic/home appliances.

l   Strong business acumen and results-driven approach. Excellent leadership, team management, and negotiation skills.

l   Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.

l   Experience in adapting strategies and approaches to accommodate various cultural perspectives and practices.

l   Significant managerial experience in subsidiaries of companies with head offices located abroad to excel in managing the dynamics between local subsidiaries and the head office in an international context.

l   Knowledge in B2B, B2C and market place channels.
